Paintings on Wood

Get to Know Nature's Canvas

Every year, millions of people dispose of acrylic paint, oil paints, and other art-related paints by spilling them down the drain and opening a pathway for that paint to end up in the environment. As these paints end up in the environment, they often seep into the soil, killing plants and destroying the fertility of the soil. This is due to the fact that many of these paints contain Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) which are chemicals that let off harmful gasses known to create smog. Additionally, many art-related paints contain solid pigments that can increase the turbidity of water which not only makes the water unsightly but clogs the gills of fish and restricts their ability to breath. Nature’s Canvas seeks to alleviate this concern and issue by providing an alternative to toxic paints. By creating acrylic paints made from the earth itself, Nature’s Canvas provides an environmentally safe approach to creating art while preserving the beauty of nature in itself. In addition to paints, Nature’s Canvas seeks to provide a complete environmentally safe line of art supplies including based colored pencils, pencils, paintbrushes, notebooks and canvases. This provides an alternative to wood based products which promote the cutting down of trees which are Natural CO2 recyclers and Oxygen producers vital to combat global warming. A Additional complimentary products will be sold as well including linen Canvases which are more environmentally friendly compared to cotton canvases which take up more water and fertilizer and pesticides compared to linen canvases. As the environment is declining, it is important businesses such as Nature’s canvas begin to emerge to provide an eco-friendly alternative to what is hurting our very own planet.
